Dr. Alexander Nyßen's professional experience spans from the engineering of model-based tools to the development of complex mechatronic and cyber-physical systems, predominantly within the automotive domain. As a coach and toolsmith, he has supported various customers in defining their engineering methods and establishing the corresponding toolchains. As an engineer, he has contributed to the development of a wide range of cyber-physical systems. He continues to actively engage in both roles to this day. In his role as Executive Vice President (EVP), he is responsible for services and staff in the area of Digital Engineering. In particular, he oversees the competence areas of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) as well as Processes, Methods, and Tools (PMT), which are integral parts of this domain.
