As the CTO of itemis, Dr. Stephan Eberle brings over 25 years of experience to the design and development of sophisticated cloud, web, and IoT systems and software tools. In parallel, he has been focusing on implementing modern DevOps and SecOps practices to automate the entire development lifecycle - from integration and deployment to cloud infrastructure provisioning - while effectively embedding cybersecurity risk detection and mitigation (Secure Software Development Lifecycle, SSDLC) and third-party license compliance from the start. More recently, Dr. Stephan Eberle has begun leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance software with conversational interfaces and to accelerate the coding process itself. His expertise is further distinguished by a long track record in model-driven software development (MDSD), the creation of domain-specific languages (DSLs) for diverse application domains, and the development of embedded, cloud-connected IoT systems with over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities.
