Dr. Stephan Eberle is the CTO of itemis France and Tunisia. He has 20+ years of experience in embedded software and IoT system design as well as in model-driven software development (MDSD) and language engineering for a broad variety of application domains. Among other things, Stephan Eberle has established a cutting-edge development approach for IoT device firmware within itemis. It enables the latter to be implemented in highly modular architectures, to be reused across different microcontroller platforms, and to perform hardware-independent testing. In parallel, Stephan Eberle uses modern build and DevOps technologies to almost fully automate all aspects of the IoT firmware development process including the provisioning of the development environment, continous integration and testing, and the delivery of the resulting firmware binaries.
