Dominic Heutelbeck is a professor in computer science. He is the head of FTK - Forschungsinstitut für Telekommunikation und Kooperation e. V. in Dortmund and teaches at FernUniversität in Hagen. For over 20 years, he has been working on authentication and authorization infrastructures, distributed systems, computer-supported collaborative work, digital preservation, and augmented reality. His research is to enable secure, trusted, and efficient collaboration between people, organizations, and systems. His current research focuses on attribute-based access control. In addition, he is active in technology transfer activities helping industry and small and medium enterprises with digitization projects.
